Well, youtube can be considered as one such sources of making MONEY. But how can you make money in youtube? Though presently youtube is not profitable, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t make money on the video sharing site. However friends, the road to making money on Youtube isn’t smooth. It takes plenty of time, patience, and luck to see a payout of any sort. So here are a certain things to be kept it mind if you really really want to earn that big money from YouTube.
  • YouTube will NOT let you make money off your video of it.
  • Don’t bother uploading videos of pop singers who are really “Cool” in that sense. Remember the usage of double quotes!
  • To get started, make an awesome video by recording something that can turn itself into a viral hit and edit it into a watchable video.
  • Upload your video on YouTube and follow it up by a catchy, attractive, meanster, bitchy but easily searchable title. Make sure that the title is self explanatory and conveniently understood.
  •  A youtube user should know how to distribute and market their video to maximize viewership. You need to regularly upload videos that are viewed by thousands of other users. So, keep making videos and distributing them to social networks and media outlets.
  •  Check your inbox regularly. Incase any one of your videos does well, youtube will send you an email saying- “Apply for revenue sharing for your video”. However, if approved, you can only make money from the specified video only.
  •  Apply through Youtube’s Partnership program page. Once you have finally uploaded enough videos and have got a lot of views, you can apply directly for partnership on Youtube’s Partner Program page. Once approved, you’ll be able to turn on revenue sharing for all your videos and so you can even rent out your videos. Ensure that you’ve read the YouTube Partnership program tutorial thoroughly, and double- check that you haven’t violated any of their rules.
  •  Once you are done reviewing the guidelines, you need to link a Google AdSense account to your youtube account. This is how Google/Youtube will pay you for your videos.
  •  After all this, all you have to do it to be patient. Youtube could take upto two weeks to review your video.
  •  Incase youtube approves your video; you can turn on overlay ads that pop up on the bottom of a video, banner ads that appear next to the video that plays in front of it.
  •  If by any chance youtube rejects your application, you have another two months before you can apply again; so get back to working on your videos.

How to write effective content for a website???

All of us admire a myriad websites. According to some reliable research analyses, it has been proved that approx. 85% of people fall in love with these websites by virtue of their content. Very rightly said, “Content is the king”, it must be taken into consideration that writing effective content for a website is the key to the success and fan following of that website.
We must be well-acquainted with a fact by now that it’s not the quantity that matters but the quality. There may be huge chunks of information on the webpage but what counts for the USP of the webpage is not the length of the information, but the relevance and uniqueness of the content matter.
The story doesn’t end here! The recipe of a successful website still has a lot of ingredients like correct grammar usage, clear typography, and easy navigation, clean download, so on and so forth.
Having said that, it is also a matter of fact that writing effective content for a website ain’t no difficult, provided some genuine points are kept in mind while framing the same in accordance to the website’s requirements and subject.
Smile-bringing Factor: Your content mustn’t be plain and dry. Make it humorous and fluffy wherever possible. Put yourself in the readers’ shoe and make it so much so interesting that it leaves a smile on his/her face.
Pyramid style: Know it for a fact that people usually don’t read the entire page unless it’s too grabby to keep them from leaving the page. So, follow the pyramid style of writing, i.e. structure your content in a descending order of importance.
Grammar and Spell Check: It is usually a matter of great disgrace for the website to have incorrect grammar and spelling errors. It puts the readers off. So, make sure you proofread the content and edit it wherever necessary to make it clean.
Concise: Put across your point in the briefest manner possible so that the main subject of the topic is conveyed in the minimal words possible and the reader doesn’t have to go through an altogether different site to grab more info, merely because he doesn’t want to go through the entire content of your website by virtue of its length.
White Space: Have a good amount of white space in your piece of writing in order to give a chance to the reader to breathe through the content. “Reverse” type of writing can also be followed for the same purpose, besides many others.
Response Generating: Make your content aligned in a proper formatting system and it is always a good idea to make at least one small portion of the entire website that fetches a genuine feedback, either by virtue of polls or simply a suggestion box.
Plagiarism free: Most importantly, it must be made sure that the content is purely original. Not just that, but it should be so unique that one must not feel that he has already read something on the same lines before. Non-repetitiveness of words in the same page must also be avoided.
Get started with the wonderful game play of words. Let them dance around you! Happy generating effective content for a website!

Spams

Spam is basically flooding the internet with multiple copies of the same message. It is mainly done with the attempt to force someone to choose to read it, even if he does not want to, and today, spamming has become like a very frequent every day job over the internet. A frequent internet user would come across either spamming of emails and notifications every now and then, such increased is the activity of spamming these days.
Most spam is commercial, which include advertising for dubious products, or claiming to give you an ‘opportunity’ for easy and free earning, and making a queer attempt to make you indulge in activities over the internet which is quasi-illegal. They are a threat as they can be luring lots of innocent internet user into misleading activities. From here comes the need to learn more about spamming and how they can be prevented or reduced from spreading, because stopping a spam is sometimes definitely out of reach.
There are two main types of spams- Cancellable Usenet spam, which s a single message sent to 20 or more Usenet newsgroups. Usenet spam is aimed at “lurkers”, people who read newsgroups but rarely or never post and give their address away.
Another very common form of spamming people is email spam. It targets individual user by sending them direct mail messages using emails id’s from Usenet groups, stealing internet mailing lists, or searching the web for addresses.
Spam is pretty common, specially for advertising because of the sole reason that spamming does not cost anything to the sender but is heavily borne on the receiver.  Anyone with measured phone service, read or receive their mail while the meter is running. So to speak, spam costs them additional money. Moreover, it costs money for ISPs and online services to transmit spam, and these costs are transmitted directly to subscribers. So compressing as to what is spam, anything which is sent in bulk, or any email that is not a part of your subscription or was never asked for, or emails sent from unknown companies or people can be termed and recognized as spam.
The reason why spamming still continues is that not many people are aware of what exactly is spam, and thus the advertisements sent by spammers are very thoroughly read and received well by few ignorant people, and thus this process of spamming never comes to a standstill. Also for the people who are aware of what is a spam, the most common thing is of refraining from using anti-spam software’s and anti spam techniques. This is surely an encouragement for spammers as half the people have no complete information on spam and the other half are just too careless to do anything about it.
For the people who really care about such a thing, there is a list of techniques both at the person and non personal level, which could help reduce and prevent spam online. At the personal level, all you could do is never responding to it, filtering it out of your e-mail, and complaining to providers about it. Sharing an email address only among a limited group of correspondents is one way to limit spam. For this reason, avoid forwarding mails to people whom you do not know, and thus try using the ‘bcc’ tab for forwarding any email in case of emergency and refrain from forwarding mails to other unknown people or group through the ‘to’ tab.
Also try your best to avoid responses to spam. Even reverting to a spammed email saying, “Don’t spam me” will give them an automatic confirmation that this is a valid and an active email id and thus will spam mail you more. Also, no matter how much that junk and spammed email might look convincing and attractive, but it is very important for one to know that only if you stop responding and encouraging will this activity come to a stop.

How’s privacy fading from Facebook?

Recently on 16 November, 2011 newspapers reported about the Facebook Fiasco wherein around 2 lakh Facebook accounts were hacked in Bangalore. Their pictures were morphed and put on pornographic sites and their friends were sent feeds about it. The victims were adversely affected by this incident mentally and socially. They committed social suicide by deleting all their accounts from all the social networking sites after facing so much social embarrassment and mental tension. More than 700 Bangaloreans deleted their Facebook accounts after this Facebook Disaster.
Time and again Mark Zuckerberg updated privacy settings of the Facebook to make Facebook a safer place to interact and share. But this incident clearly shows that hackers are cannier than MarkZuckerberg and that privacy from social networking sites like Facebook is fading rapidly!

Privacy Fading from FacebookWith the pervasiveness of Internet and Social Media, Social Networking sites like Facebook and Twitter have become an integral part of our lives. With more than 350 million users of Facebook and most of them spending at least 2 hours on social networking sites daily, it seems as though the world is Facebook’s Oyster. A regular use of these sites has made us vulnerably addictive to them and so we can’t help but post everything that we do or feel in our daily lives on these sites in an attempt to share it with our friends. And this indeed has put our personal, social and professional life’s privacy on stake!
Privacy is a basic right of all the citizens on this earth. Our elders have always advised us to keep our personal and professional lives separate. But with the invasion of Facebook into our lives, achievement of this task seems to be impossible.
Over a period of time innumerable numbers of instances have been quoted about jobs terminations due information and pictures posted on Facebook. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn profiles have become a necessity for job seekers and college applicants. The companies often ask if you are a member on various social networking sites and it’s a minus 10 if you are not. It becomes very difficult to get a job without Facebook and LinkedIn profiles on one hand and on the other hand it is even more difficult to ensure job security with these websites.
One of the best examples is Anthony Weiner, former U.S representative, who lost his position due to pictures posted on social networking site. Companies stalk our Facebook profiles to cross check given information and often judge our personality through Facebook profile, posts, pictures and conversations.
There have been several reported allegations of privacy invasion due to Facebook and incidents of Facebook trading users’ information. Users complain about constant tampering with Facebook’s format and privacy settings. Information and photos uploaded on Facebook is now used as a weapon by cops and advocates as evidence in prosecutions, custody clashes and other crime investigations. Not only this, many relationships have been wrecked due to exposed information on Facebook.
Even German government has been battling with Facebook over the introduction of a facial recognition feature that required users to opt-out, so as to prevent Facebook from collecting their data.
Vigorous efforts have been made by Facebook to provide the users with better privacy settings and so now the user has freedom to restrict desired people from viewing information about them. But the user doesn’t have control or command over what others are posting about him/her. Also maximum users upload all the information about their personal life, unaware of the trouble it could push them into and catastrophic consequences it might have.
From the above instances it is very much clear that our social, personal and professional life is in acute danger due to fading privacy from Facebook. So, be cautious about what all goes on your Facebook status updates, walls and photos. We must not forget that the information uploaded is shared with the whole world which includes not only our friends but also our enemies, bosses, teachers, ex-girlfriends/boyfriends, family, fans, media professionals, children etc. Keeping this in mind can help us keep Facebook at bay from interfering in our personal lives.

How to get a great Facebook Profile Picture?

Do you wish to look awesome in your facebook profile picture? I think most of us want that! After all, it is just like a virtual high, a scrapbook of family and friends and a resume all rolled in one! So, no wonder we want to look the best! Here are few tips to get a perfect picture for your facebook profile picture without using any editing softwares like Photoshop or other.
1. First and foremost things you should do is dress your best! If you are looking a profile picture that fetches many ‘likes’; wear clothes that flatter you the most! V- Necks make you look taller and thinner.  While boat necks help balance our shoulders. Choose the look that makes you look great and feel confident.
2. Wear the right make-up, make-up is one thing that says a lot about you and your personality! A light touch up of powder will help prevent sunshine from flash! You must also make sure that you hide dark spots if you’ve any. If you are wearing a set of lenses, use light, soothing colors because, too flashy and dark picture won’t appear good.
3. Don’t use your phone camera, webcam! The obvious mistakes people make is using the phone camera. Like, many of us say, Oh Now I’m looking fab, let’s have a photo! You might look fab that moment, but trust me that picture is not suitable for a facebook profile picture.
4. Don’t post your pictures with alcohol, cigarettes or anything that is questionable- If your profile pictures are not set to private, you never know who sees your profile. You might wonder that you look cooler with cigarettes or with that tiny glass of vodka/tequila.
5. Give a great pose- it is important for you to look fantastic, so you must always give a great pose to the photographer. Look into the lens confidently. A great pose teamed up with great set of clothes and make-up makes it just PERFECT!
6. Smile! You shall get all the glitters and charm with your smile. The best pictures are the ones with a genuine and a happy smile. It should appear as if you’ve a new job or for some reason you’re genuinely happy!
So, these are some pointers you can keep in mind when you click your new facebook profile picture!
